John Hoover Wilson, 82, of 12551 US Hwy 64 West, Siler City died Sunday, July
25, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Wilson was born May 3, 1928 the son of Thomas Henry and Betty (Hough)
Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a native of Chatham County and the owner-operator of
Wilson 64 Auto Sales for 45 years. He attended Siler City Pentecostal Holiness
Church. Hoover loved working, his family, his church family, his country and
visiting with friends in the community.
He is survived by two daughters: Teresa W. Graves and husband, Ricky of Siler
City, NC, Carolyn Wilson of Graham, NC and three sons: Marty Wilson of Siler
City, NC, Greg Wilson of Nashville, TN, John D. Wilson of Siler City, NC; one
sister: Rachel W. Hudson of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Hillary and Cliff
Graves, Corey and Adam Wilson, Nicole Wilson and his former wife, Nancy P.
Wilson of Siler City, NC.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at
Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC and
other times at the home of Teresa and Ricky Graves, 66 Fellowship Church Road,
Siler City. The funeral will be Friday, July 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Siler City
Pentecostal Holiness Church, 17475 US 64 W, Siler City, NC with Rev. Mark
Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Bear Creek Baptist Church
Cemetery with military rites by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
