Dorothy E. Hough, 97, died Monday, March 28, 2011 at Waccamaw Community Hospital.

Born in Ellery, Ill., a daughter of the late Alvia A. and Susie D. Sullivan Goodman. She was predeceased by her first husband, Jimmy Eason; and second husband, Henry Hough. She was also predeceased by son-in-law, Everette Ayers; son, Ronnie Eason; two sisters, Virginia Goodman, Mildred Gould; and brother, Rolland Goodman.

She was owner and operator of Bay Harbor and Anchor Inn restaurant.

Survivors include son, Richard Eason and wife, Judi; daughter, Brenda Ayers and a daughter-in-law, Pauline Perry Eason; special friend, Joanna Pyatt and special care-giver, Maxine Todd.; grandchildren, Everette E. Ayers, III, Regina Ayers, Ron Eason, Pam Coggins, Monica Turner, Rick Eason, and Angela Sipos; great-grandchildren, Amelia Coggins, Erik Ayers, Aubrey Ayers, Sydney Sipos, Rick Sipos, Gabriel Eason, Nicholas Turner, Noah Turner, Kaylie Eason, and Jonah Ayers.
