Bobby Ray Hough

Bobby Ray Hough , 82,
formally of Lubbock passed away on October 16, 2011 in Temple, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 10:00 am at Bacon Heights Baptist Church, burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Bobby was born on January 5, 1929 in Olusti, Oklahoma to Virgil C. And Fannie Hough. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Merl Ruth Curry on July 30, 1949 and they enjoyed their lives until her passing in 1979. Bobby then married Dianna Fuller in 1982.

Bobby was a firefighter for the City of Lubbock for 20 years and recently he was living near his daughters in the Austin and Houston areas.

He enjoyed good conversation over a good cup of coffee and was very kindhearted and a positive influence everyone he met.

He is survived by his two daughters; Linda Owen and her husband Ray and Patricia "Trish" McKenna and her husband Matt, four grandchildren; Jennifer Thompson, Jarod Owen, Elizabeth and Joshua McKenna, and two great-grandchildren, Corwin and Owen Thompson.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, wife Ruth, daughter Vicki Annette Hampton, two brothers and one sister.
