Shirley Moore Deese, 53, of 1612 W. Third Street, Siler City, died Friday (11-08-02) at her residence.

Funeral services were held at 1pm Monday (11-11-02) at Brookdale Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Queen and Rev. Walter Jones officiating. Burial followed in Chatham Memorial Park.

A native of Chatham County, Mrs. Deese was owner-operator of Carolina Gallery. She was a member of Brookdale Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie D. Deese; daughters, Monica D. Watts of Ramseur, Sonya D. Hall of Loudon, VA, and Stacey D. Deese of Asheboro; mother, Emma Burke Moore of Siler City; brothers, Lane Moore of Homestead, FL, Sammy Moore and Barry Moore, both of Siler City; sisters, Linda M. Foster of Siler City, Sandra M. Linton of Goldsboro, and Tammy M. Booth of Randleman; and three grandchildren.
