Nell retired from First Home Federal and Forbis and Dick Funeral Service. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille B. and Clyde L. Branson, son Charles “Chuck” F. Sumner III, granddaughter Jennifer Sumner, sister Joyce Riddle, and brother Jimmie C. Branson. She is survived by her husband, Charles “Buddy” F. Sumner Jr., daughter Angela Sumner Reid, seven grandchildren, Alyssa Routh, Aaren Routh, Jackson Myers, Bryceson Myers, Matthew Sumner, Wendy Shrewsbury, and Kristin Sumner, two great-grandchildren, brother Douglas S. Branson and wife Anne of Greenville, SC; and extended families Leigh Ann McPeak, Amado Garcia and Carol Cervantes and many more. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
