Funeral services will be held at the Hickory Mountain Baptist Church, of which he was a member, Saturday at 2 p.m. by the Revs. B. G. Campbell and Geter Porch. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maggie Lemmons Burke; four daughters, Mrs. Howard Kidd of Siler City, Mrs. Archie Johnson of Route 3, Siler City, Mrs. Ted Phillips of Bennett, Mrs. Amick Campbell of Greensboro; five sons, Frank Burke and the Rev. Wiliam Burke of Asheboro, Lonnie and Clarence of Siler City and Tom Burke of Greensboro; three sisters, Mrs. D. T. Poe of R.F.D, Pittsboro, Mrs. Lynn Jones of Route 2, Bear Creek and Mrs. Alton Dowd of Siler City; four brothers, Sam and Ammie of Siler City, Ollie of Asheboro and J. F. Burke of Route 1, Bear Creek; 31 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
